What this covers
This policy covers the Northkite marketing site and the Northkite dashboard prototype at /dashboard. It describes what information you give us, where it lives, and who can see it.
Northkite is currently a front-end prototype. That one fact does most of the privacy work in this document: the product has no server-side account database, so most of your data never leaves your browser.
What we collect at signup
Creating an account asks for your full name, work email, password, and company name. The onboarding wizard then asks five questions about your sales operation: team size, sales channels, KPIs to track, regions, and product categories.
As the prototype notice on the signup page says: accounts are stored only in this browser tab — nothing is sent to a server. All of the above, including your dashboard configuration, lives in your browser's sessionStorage and is never transmitted to us. We cannot read it, recover it, or reset it. Closing the tab erases it.
What we collect from the demo form
The "Request a demo" form on the homepage is the one place data does leave your browser. It sends us your name, work email, company, team size, retail channels, and anything you type in the demo-focus field.
We use it for exactly one thing: replying to schedule your demo. It is not added to a marketing list, and submitting the form does not subscribe you to anything.
Your choices & contact
To erase your prototype account and dashboard data, just close the browser tab — that's genuinely all it takes. To have a demo request deleted from our inbox, email us and we'll confirm within one business day.
Questions, deletion requests, or anything this page didn't answer: privacy@northkite.io. A human reads it — the same eleven people from the About page.
The one-line version
Your account stays in your browser tab, the demo form goes only to our inbox, and nobody else gets either.
